MINUTEMENT; The Battle to Secure America’s Borders

The author tells why he created the Minuteman Project and how he and just a few hundred volunteers, armed with only binoculars and cell phones, proved that America’s borders can be protected against illegal immigration if only there is a will to do so. This leads to the second part of his story, which is why the US government does not have this will and how it has even hindered the work of the Minutemen. This story will make you angry, but it will also enlighten you regarding what American leaders really have planned for the US-Mexican border. They plan to eliminate it. Here are the details.

News?

Andy Ramirez serves as chairman of Friends of the Border Patrol (FBP), a non-profit organization that was created to support the U.S. Border Patrol and defend U.S. national security. Founded in 2004, FBP works with the Border Patrol and law enforcement officials across the United States and is using surveillance cameras on the U.S.-Mexico border to serve as a “neighborhood watch” and as “eyes and ears” for the Border Patrol in high-traffic areas where the Border Patrol does not have cameras operating. With his many contacts in the Border Patrol, Mr. Ramirez also breaks important stories that have been neglected or covered up by the politicians and the major media.

Pentagon considers sending troops to border

Reuters - 1 hour, 3 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has begun drawing up plans to send troops and equipment to the U.S. border with Mexico, where hundreds of thousands of migrants enter the country illegally each year, a defense official said on Friday. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld discussed border issues at the Pentagon with his Mexican counterpart, Defense Minister Gen. Gerardo Clemente Ricardo Vega. Mexico and the United States share a 2,000-mile border.

Congratulations!  You have finally mustered up the balls to do something that should have been done 20 years ago.  Way to Go!

Did we need to wait for the first illegal strike to make this move?  So that it could be made to appear as a result?  PC goes a long way.

Federal judge says illegal aliens’ privacy trumps public’s right to know

A federal District Court Judge has ruled that the privacy rights of illegal aliens convicted of heinous crimes in this country are more important than the public’s right to know if the government is properly enforcing a key immigration law.

Amazing as the ruling itself may be, what is even more stunning is the fact that U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Richard J. Leon was affirming the Bush administration’s position in the case. President Bush nominated Leon in 2001 and the Senate confirmed him in February 2002.
